The Kuki Christian Church has a record of almost 80 baptisms per month. The church, which began as part of the Christian Restoration Movement, has grown into a large congregational church with a presence in four of the seven northeastern states of India. ==Church and state== KCC is not against the political aspirations of the Kuki people, but it is opposed to unbiblical ideologies and means to attain those aspirations.
